My Eye Is Spying BALMAIN.

This was Oliver Rousteigs big catwalk debut, having taken over from Christophe Decarmin earlier this year. His slightly subtler approach to the Balmain aesthetic saw him " mixing the tailoring of mexico and the glamour of vegas" - combining embellished mini dresses with glam rock bold shoulders. Black, White and glitzy golds were predominant colours throughout the show with the colour palette peppered with the odd spot of pale blue. Finishing touches to the looks were inspired by Old Western clothing, with metailic buckle front belts and cuff bracelets. I feel he has made a smooth transition and still sticking to the glam - rock chic looks that Balmain are famous and loved for.

The clothes are extremely wearable and effortlessly chic. From the striped beton sequin jumpers, to the power shouldered embellished jackets to the studded jeans, all looks are being hailed as looks of the season.

The Key to getting this look without paying Balmain prices is getting the balance right.

.Small amounts of  bling, leather, tailoring and some fierce studs and buckles.

Balmain inspired outfits to look out for are

- power shouldered tuxedos
- one shouldered sequin dresses
- metallic panneled dresses.

Check this amazing river island jacket! You wouldn't tell the difference....
