Taisir Gibreel

Hey guys, check out this designer from Perth Taisir Gibreel. She specialises in handmade scarfs which exudes culture, colour and luxury. The designs are based on original hand drawings of rural and urban Scottish landscapes, drawing great inspiration from the colours and shapes found in the highlands and the geometric shapes and structures found in the Scottish Parliament building. For my article, I have chosen to write about the struggle of starting up your own fashion business, the advantages and disadvantages. I've chosen to interview Taisir as i feel she is the perfect candidate having in the past few years started up her business. She is an exciting new talent, who has featured in Marie Claire and been approached by Vogue so I am excited to interview her!!! Stay tuned to the MUSE
